Vänerstuga is a newly built cabin at Skutberget, perfect for both families and smaller groups who appreciate extra space. You’ll stay in a fresh and inviting 38 sqm environment with room for up to 4 people. The beds are distributed across two separate bedrooms, and in the living area, you’ll find a kitchen with a kitchenette, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and other essentials for your holiday. The living area also features a sofa and TV for cozy moments.

Enjoy relaxation and delicious meals together, either indoors or on the terrace just outside the cabin. A parking space is also included.

Vänerstuga

Welcome to Skutbergsstuga Extra, a spacious, fresh, and cozy accommodation. Here you stay in 40 square meters, and the cottage can accommodate 5 people. One room with a double bed, one room with a single bed, and a sofa bed in the living room for two people. The cottage is equipped with a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Here you will find most of the equipment you may need during your stay, such as a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, stove, and coffee maker. Perfect for those who want to cook their own meals during the vacation and enjoy good meals around the dining table.

For those who prefer to take their meal or morning coffee outside, there is also a nice terrace outside the cabin where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, you are also close to a playground, perfect for families!

Skutbergsstuga Extra

Our Skutberg cabins are a great option for those who prefer spacious, fresh and fine accommodation on their holiday. Here you reside in a pleasant 40 square metres and the cabin has room for up to six people, with the beds divided into two bedrooms and a sofa bed with room for two people. The cabin is equipped with a bathroom with shower and toilet. Here you will find most of the equipment you could possibly need during your stay, including a fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove and coffee maker. Perfect if you want to prepare your own food on holiday and enjoy delicious meals around the dining table together.

For those who prefer to take their meal or morning coffee outside there is also a nice terrace outside the cabin where you can enjoy the fine surroundings. You will also be near a children’s playground, perfect for young families!

Skutbergsstuga

Nice cabins for the slightly larger family seeking comfort during the holidays. The cabins are 34 sqm large and can accommodate six people. The cabin’s furnished patio is perfect for sunny summer evenings. The cabin consists of three bedrooms, a combined kitchen/living room and bathroom with shower and toilet. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other two have bunk beds. Blankets and pillows are available for all the beds. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and micro and the living room has a sofa. Parking is right next to the cabin.

One of these cabins is handicapped and has a ramp. The double bed in one of the bedrooms is replaced by a 120 cm wide bed.

Kattvikstuga Plus

Nice cabins for the smaller family looking for comfort during the holidays. The cabins are 25 sqm large and can accommodate four people. The cabin’s furnished patio is perfect for sunny summer evenings. The cabin consists of two bedrooms, a combined kitchen/living room and bathroom with shower and toilet. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other has a bunk bed. Blankets and pillows are available for all the beds.. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, oven and micro and the living room has a sofa. Parking is available right next to the cabin.

Kattvikstuga

Our Klarälvstugor are cozy 4-bed cabins of 20 sqm with a lovely furnished patio. In the cabins there is a separate bedroom with a bunk bed, a combined kitchenette/living room with sofa bed and bathroom with shower and toilet. Blankets and pillows are available for all beds. In the kitchenette there is a fridge and hotplates. Parking is available next to the cabin.

Klarälvstuga

The accommodation for those who do not stay at a camping to sit in all day long! The cabins are simple and cozy, 12 sqm large and can accommodate four people – here you will sleep well in the bunk beds. Blankets and pillows are available for all the beds. In the days you are probably on fun adventures in the city or in the beautiful countryside, the cabins are also close to the playground. There is a simple small kitchenette with hotplates and fridge, but no running water. For a shower or toilet visit, you can visit the nearby service building. Parking is available next to the cabin.

Our campsite is located in the beautiful area of Skutberget in Karlstad. Only ten minutes from Karlstad City is First Camp Skutberget – Karlstad, where you can stay in a scenic setting on the beautiful shore of Lake Vänern.

On this campsite, adventure is never far away, and you’ll find activities for both young and old campers. Play beach volleyball, challenge your friends to disc golf, play miniature golf on our competitive adventure golf course or jog along the exercise trails in the area. Our bright and popular bistro serves summer lunch and dinner, and the service shop sells freshly baked bread every morning.

Ten minutes away by bus, car, or bicycle is Karlstad’s wide variety of restaurants, shopping, and excursions. Did you know that Karlstad is known as the coffee-smelling summer city with loads of festivals, boat buses, and a stunning archipelago with plenty of islands to visit?
